After four years the Porsche Cayenne has been updated. Main modifications include a new range of more powerful and m
ore frugal engines, while the styling has also been revised. Unlike most other Porsche evolutions, the character of the DRG has changed significantly, gaining focus and aggression. Headlamps are now a little more horizontal in form,
though the rear units are less distinct. The basic Cayenne sees a 40PS power hike to 290PS, while the S version now gets a 4.8-liter V8 good for 385PS - the same as the Lamborghini Muira SV had, incidentally. Topping the range as ever is the Turbo, which now touches 500PS for a 0-60mph time of just 5.1 seconds. The new Porsche Cayenne will be in showrooms as of February 24 next year, with prices ranging from around $60,000 to double that for the Turbo.
